termination dates and then recommencment

Question

We had a staff member return to Sri Lanka for Holidays in March 2020 then COVID hit so her employment was terminated as she could not return. She returned this year in February 2022 so a new commencement dated was entered in her card. I am now getting an error as follows:-

* Cessation date cannot be before the commencement date (ATO error code CMN.ATO.PAYEVNTEMP.000282
