Invalid ABN error message when trying to setup for BAS

My client is trying to lodge BAS statements, but keep getting this error message:

 

"For the next step, we need your ABN. We’ve detected that you haven’t entered an ABN, or the ABN you entered isn’t valid. Please enter a valid ABN in the Company Information window or Business Settings page. Once you’ve done that, refresh this page."

 

Any ideas on how to fix this? Have tried clearing Cache, re-entering details & updating etc and still not working. Looks like i can lodge from my login, but my client cannot still.

    I'm sorry to hear that your client is experiencing the "Invalid ABN" error message while trying to set up BAS. The best way to resolve this is to reach out to our live chat support through our virtual assistant MOCA or submit a case via MyAccount.
