We can't get in touch with the ATO

We can't get in touch with the ATO right now, so we haven't created any new activity statements for you. This may also affect your ability to edit or lodge forms. Please try again later.

  • I can confirm this is now working.

    Hi leibholdqpbc,

     

    Thank you for your post.

     

    If you are receiving this error, I would advise you to reload the activity statement, to do this:

     

    1. Check the date the data was last updated
    2. Click Update from ledger
    3. Check the date has been updated
    4. Continue to lodge the return

    If you're not able to open the BAS, check that the ATO has been provided the correct Software ID. This help article, Get ready to lodge activity statements online, has information more information on this. 

     

    Let me know how you go, happy to help.

      1. Check the date the data was last updated   <==== where is that
      2. Click Update from ledger                          <==== where is that             
      3. Check the date has been updated
      4. Continue to lodge the return

        Please use the below screenshot as a guide for the above steps: 

         

        1. Check the date the data was last updated (next to "update from ledger")

        2. Click Update from ledger

        3. Check the above date has now been updated (next to "update from ledger")

        4. Continue to lodge the return

         

        If you cannot see the above options in your BAS window, would you please advise at what point exactly this error occurs for you?
