Employee Card information mapping incorrect from Onboarded employee

We have used the onboarding function for our first employee recently.

The employee data appears correct on the employee card & the first payrun was processed fine.

I used the Import/Export Assistant to get a list of employee cards and the data is split over 8 lines in the export file and some data is not showing in the appropriate column.

All other employees are showing on a single line & showing in the correct column.

I have attached a file with data changed to show the type of data in each field so you can see that the mapping is incorrect for onboarded employees.

FYI, every column was exported except the Card ID.

  • Hi BrendanMP

Welcome to the Community Forum.  We have been made aware of a current situation where if the employee information is entered through the self-onboarding form, it will cause some of the fields to display on multiple rows and push out alignment.

The workaround would be to either 1) not include the fields or 2) delete the text in the fields and retype it again (to remove the bad formatting). These are the fields that we are aware of being affected:

    • Addr 1 - Line 1
    • Notes

      Hi Samara

      Thanks for your reply.

I have tested that employee and removing & re-adding the address & Notes fixes our employee.

Note, on top of the system fault, our data previously had comma's as well which spread the data across multiple fields when you export as a csv.

To fix this i entered the data without the comma's.

      Hi SamaraM

Just wondering if there is an ETA for this fix, I have just processed an export and the mapping is still incorrect.

      Thank you
