LONG SERVICE LEAVE BALANCE

Hi,

I have realised that 2 staff members have not had the LSL set up and have since set up.

I need to work out the carry forward hours for the following:

Employee 1 - Part Time:  14/1/19 - 8/4/19 I have been told by Fair Work is 0.21wks

Employee 2 - Full Time 5/1/15 - 8/4/19 Fair Work advised is 3.69wks

Is anyone able to help me with the calculation of this and the proper procedure.

Thanking in advance.

Jacki

@Jackio

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find plenty of useful information.

Long Service Leave is current set by the State Goverenment so you would need to know the details for your state.

If you already have a Wage Category and Entitlement Category setup then to adjust all you need do is and adjustment via a void payslip.

Have a read of the MYOB SUPPORT NOTES on Long Service Leave and Adjusting Leave Entitlements.

Re: LONG SERVICE LEAVE BALANCE

Thank you Graeme for your reply.

I have spoken to Fairwork NSW and they have given me the weeks but I am trying to convert that into hours to enter it in MYOB.

Re: LONG SERVICE LEAVE BALANCE

The calculation should be simple = no of weeks x hours in a week.

NES is 38 hrs so 3.69 weeks x 38 = 140.22hrs.
