Process one last pay after notifying ATO of termination date

Ive got a situation where an employee has resigned after a few months, the final pay supposedly done and the ATO notified of the termination date through the STP reporting.  It seems now (*sigh*) there are extra hours owing that were not included in the final pay.  The termination date remains the same, but we need to pay the hours previously missed.  Can the hours be processed and paid at current date and leave the termination date alone.  Or do we need to "undo" the reported termination date,  run the pay, then re-advise the same termination date? Thank you

  • Hi Feebie,

Thank you for your post and updated post to let us know how the route you took.

You would be correct in the process of reinstating the employee card, removing the termination, running the pay, and then re-entering the termination date.

If you ran into any trouble along the way, or require further assistance - feel free to reach out.
