Super paid on Other Base Hourly

I have two categories set up in my payroll - Base Hourly and Other Base Hourly (which I use if an employee works some overtime) We pay the same hourly rate for both categories (my employer doesnt pay overtime rates).

My question is if an employee works 45 hours i put forty hours against base hourly and the remaining five hours as Other Base Hourly.  Do I pay super on the 5 extra hours as it is paid at the same hourly rate?

    Thanks for reaching out.

Generally, overtime is not included in the Super calculations. As this is outside of the OTE (Ordinary Time Earnings). But I would much suggest that you consult with a financial advisor as this would be considered financial advice.

Here is the help article Superannuation for more information regarding Superannuation in AccountRight.

Let me know if you require any further assistance with this. I'm happy to assist.
