Lock invoice numbering

Hello

 

We have an issue with a client consistently changing invoice numbers in MYOB and then the next invoice issued has the consecutive number, creating many duplicate invoice numbers. 

 

Can we lock this function?

 

I do use the lock feature but changing the invoice numbering must still be allowed?

    Thanks for posting your concern in the forum. 

     

    I understand how important it is that all transactions have a unique transaction number. Unfortunately, the application transaction numbers will continue after the last edited or created invoice number. This means if you recently changed the invoice of one of your transactions, the sequence of the invoice numbers will continue after the new invoice number. Rest assured we will raise this as a suggestion to the development team. 

     

    In the meantime, feel free to post again in the forum if you have any other concerns.
