Credit card payment not working

I do have a client that wants to pay an invoice by credit card. When using her company credit card functionality she gets message unable to authenticate payment.

This is a company credit card she is using for daily payments. All her payments are processed, including payments done on same day and almost same time as trying to pay for our invoice,  except our online payment which can't be processed.  She contacted her bank and they refer to me.

Any suggestions?

    Hi there Wimzorba,

     

    The error message "Unable to authenticate payment" your client is seeing likely relates to the 3D Secure authentication process, which adds extra security for online payments, similar to entering a PIN at an ATM transaction. Here are a couple of things to keep in mind:

     

    • 3D Secure is managed by the bank, so the authentication process is initiated by them. This means your client might not always be prompted to enter a password or code.
    • Not all banks use 3D Secure, which can sometimes affect the authentication process.
