PDF invoices not attaching anymore

Could someone please help since last Monday when we send off Invoices from the portal the "attach Invoice PDF" is no longer ticked and we have to tick every single time we use

 

We didn't make any changes to our file so not sure why this has been taken off

 

Could someone please advise where and how we can have this reverted to have when we email  ALL our invoices that this is automatically switched back on

    Thanks for your reply.

    This was a default feature for sending attachments and has been removed recently in June. It's a not new feature.  It should be re-instated.

    Hi JNRCivil

     

    Seems like the option to attach an invoice PDF has gone missing out of nowhere! If you're using AccountRight, you can set it up to automatically attach a PDF for every invoice by heading to Preferences > Emailing. This can't be done in the MYOB Business browser.

    I have  Myob Business so removing this automatic button has meant that my builder cannot accept invoices without attachments. I just had to  resend 34 invoices and manuallty tick each time I email. Not sure why this have been removed.

    Hi Aggie,

     

    Having to resend 34 invoices and manually tick the PDF option each time would drive anyone up the wall! At the moment, MYOB Business doesn’t have a way to set the PDF option as default when sending invoices. I can see why this feature would be super handy though! It’s a cracking idea, and I reckon it'd be worth voting for it through this link as another user posted this suggestion on ideas board and hopefully, it makes its way into a future update.

    Same issue here. We've been using it for years to attach a pdf automatically. Once the mail has been delivered we keep a copy of the invoice pdf locally for reference and for personal reminder correspondence without having to login to MYOB. Now it's gone. Another plus one to have it reinstated please.

  • The crazy part is, up until a few weeks ago it WAS the default. So why they would change it, and not allow users the option to add it is totally ridiculous? Its not MYOB 'adding a feature' or even an 'idea' someone has had....its just a case of MYOB needing to undoing another useless update where they have 'improved' their product when no one asked them to.

    Hi WillN,

     

    Changes to the tools we rely on to simplify our tasks can be challenging, especially when features like automatically attaching PDFs to emails are removed. This was clearly a key part of how lots of users get things done. I reckon to support the push to bring this feature back by adding your vote to the post here, every vote highlights how much this functionality matters.
