Entitlement Report Issue

Hi, our Entitlement Balance report Available Hours are incorrect on the report.

If I do 24.7.2023 - 24.7.2023, it shows the opening hours amount not the available hours amount.

If I do and range 1.7.2023 - 24.7.2023 it shows the hours taken amount and correct available hours amount.

This is only happening with the Time in Lieu accural hours.

  • Hi DLMEM

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community Forum.

In this regard, Entitlement accruals not being reduced by hours taken is generally caused by the linked Wages Category not being selected in the entitlement payroll category. For time in lieu this would be the Time in LIeu taken wage category.

    Check on the image

You can process an adjustment pay to correct the time in lieu accrual balance by recording $0 pay and entering the number of hours you want to reduce the balance by as a negative against the entitlement category.

These help articles have detailed information: Time lieu and Adjusting leave entitlements

Let me know if you need further assistance with this. We're happy to assist you.

    Thanks

    Cel

    Hi Cel

I spoke to a consultant on the phone, it was a mapping issue.

All of the link wage categories are correct, I have been running this report for over 5 years.

They suggested I make the date range from the beginning of the FY 1.7.2023 to the payroll date (1.7.2023-8.8.203). Not the start and end date the payroll date.(8.8.2023-8.8.2023)

So I will run the report this way from now on.

I have had a few issues since starting this FY payroll year, with this entitlement report.

First issue was there was no FY2024 to select and could not do an entitlement report for any date from 1.7.2023. The consultant suggested I run a zero payroll, this fixed it.

Maybe have a look at this problem, I assume others are having the same issue.

    Thanks
