Error Message while trying to lodge 2024/2025 Final STP

While trying to lodge the 2024/2025 Final STP Lodgment, the above error message is received. 

 

Something went wrong. Please try again or refresh the browser. Please try again. If the error persists, get in touch with us. Request ID: ec13fb73-4dfe-4f31-bab3-63cb903661b2.

 

I also tried to log into the ATO and received the below message, and can only assume that they are related somehow?

 

Any guidance that can be provided will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi melindawatson

     

    Just had a look and we’re not seeing any outages on our side at the moment, so it’s a bit tricky to say if those two error messages are actually related. The “Something went wrong” message can pop up for a bunch of different reasons. One thing you might want to check is the RFBA threshold for any employees, you’ll find more about the RFBA something went wrong message in the FAQs section at the link.

    It would appear it was the number of employees that I was trying to finalise at once. There are 467 employees to finalise for STP reporting. By breaking the number to finalise into batches I was able to finalise STP. Its very strange that the software wont accept this amount of employees at one
