System is saying an entry relates to a locked period when it does not.

Hi,

A staff members super has bounced back.  I know what to do to re-pay it but each time I try to reverse the relevant super payment, MYOB tells me that I am trying to post the reversal entry into a locked period.  This is not corrrect, the locked period is set at 31 Dec 2021 and the super reversal entry is dated 10 Mar 2022 (original super payment date was 7 Feb 2022).  Version is 2022.1. 

Please provide a solution.

    Yes the locked period doesn't make sense.

     

    I suggest you try removing the locked period ( untick) and try to  process the reversal and payment.

     

    Then reinstate the locked period

     

    Worth a try anyway
