Backup in Progress Error Message

I have been unable to log into MYOB Accountright all day.  The message is that the company file is currently backing up. The last backup made was 3 days ago which had completed successfully. I have tried calling for help multiple times and right now while holding the wait time is apparently more than 2 hours!

Any advice other than needing to make a phone call please?

    This is something that only MYOB support can help you with, and they are very difficult to get in touch with. A setting on their server indicates the backup is still in progress, and this setting needs to be cleared before you can log in.

     

    You could try lodging a ticket by logging in to your myaccount.myob.com account, however that might take just as long, or longer - some are waiting 10-12 days for a response.

    Thanks very much for your reply and advice. That's very frustrating and certainly something which needs to be addressed by MYOB if it is happening to multiple customers.  

     

    I will try lodging a ticket as well. Right now I have been on hold on the phone for 2 hours and counting!

    Hi,

     

    I am having the same problem. I have been waiting on the phone for support for 2 hours now. The message says the backup is still running even though it failed last night.

    Sorry to hear you had to wait that long on the phone, and thanks for your patience. I can see that your issue has already been fixed. If this happens again and the backup still shows as running even though it failed, please reach out to our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via My Account so they can run a script to sort it out for you.
