Regarding your concern, yes, you could run two separate files in one ABN, however, when it is time to report to the ATO you would need to combine the two as it is all one ABN. If you run two separate accounts, you will also need two separate bank accounts.

Does STP2 in MYOB allw you to report weekly with two MYOB files but one ABN ?

Thank you for getting back to us. In this matter, if you have 2 different files under one ABN, normally, you will only have one file per ABN. If you have two different files in one ABN, you can use the Chart of Accounts and set up different accounts for the different operations. However, we do recommend speaking with your accountant to check your Chart of Accounts.
Regarding the STP2 in MYOB, if it allows you to report weekly with two MYOB files on one ABN, in this case, yes, it is possible however, it might be merged on the file if you have employees.
