Budget Import Error

No worries, we’ll get this sorted. The “row count does not match the template” error appears when the file’s layout doesn’t match the budget template MYOB expects. The quickest fix is to export the budget straight from the Budget screen as a CSV and use that file as your starting point. I’ll also share this forum post and this link with extra tips to help resolve import error.

 I think the CSV export may be the issue.  I can export as excel or pdf but the csv doesn't seem to work.  Is there something I can do to fix that?

I have also encounter this same error when i was trying to upload the 1st budget.

i also tried to export one and used the same template for upload but again, same error.

How to find the solution pls?

Hi Maykoo,

Looks like the budget template is being a little cheeky. The best first step is to export the budget directly as a CSV from MYOB, rather than saving an Excel version as CSV. If CSV still isn’t working, try exporting and importing from a different browser or computer to see whether the issue is device-specific.
