Import Error 14 - Invalid Account Number

We use an external Payroll system for wages and import a transaction journal after each payrun.  We have a new site opening up and have created a new MYOB file.  When I try and import the payrun journal I get the error 14 - Invalid Account Number.   I have checked our Chart of Accounts in MYOB and all look ok.   Am I missing something?

    Hi DorisO,

     

    Thanks a heap for the screenshots! Error 14 usually pops up when AccountRight can’t match the account number coming in from the import file. Quick fix is often just sorting the formatting in Excel and making sure the numbers line up. Make sure your import file actually has the account number and nothing’s missing Excel can be a bit cheeky and turn 1-1000 into 11000, then AccountRight won’t recognise it. If the account numbers are indeed the same and it's still giving you the error, give our live chat team a buzz via our virtual assistant MOCA, or by submitting a support case via MyAccount.
