Can't run my payrol

I just went to set up my payrol and i can't get past the first screen, i get this error message.

Does anyone know what this is and if not how do i actually speak to someone at MYOB about essentials payrol in NZ

  • Our fix has been tested and released to the software now. You are all good to go.
    So sorry again for the delays today everyone and I hope you arent held up too much processing these payruns at the end of your day.

  • Frustrating too. MYOB supporter, can you fix the issue by 5pm today? Please update the process on it!

  • I guess all I can do is pay to each of the staff an amount just shy on what they would normally get through the bank and pay a top up once Payroll is up and working tomorrow.  Not ideal but people have rent/mortgage payments coming out tonight.

    • Yeah, I think that'll be my plan too but I'm going to wait until the last possible moment. Murphy's Law I'll set up a payment and then the system will start working again.

    Same issue here - our employees (like everyone else's) NEED to be paid today! Have been trying for 3 hours now but obviously it's a massive problem... or is it a stat day in Oz???!!! (Hope not!) ... VERY frustrating!

  • Hi all, this is a known issue at the moment. We are working hard to get this resolved as soon as possible

      Thanks for your reply - can you please advise the likelihood of the payroll being available this afternoon before 5 pm NZtime? If it isn't I will need to pay my 25 staff a basic pay each and try and reconcile it tomorrow?

      • Has anyone had an update of this being resolved today? I too have to pay staff that live week to week. 

  • Hi all, we have identified the problem and are working hard to resolve this as soon as possible.
    We are definitely aware of the time and that many customers are trying to pay their staff by 5pm NZ today.

      Lets hope this is fixed by then, otherwise there are going to be a lot more grumpy and disappointed people, Not at all good for a payroll software system... Lets bring back more functions so at least this happens we can still have the access to do a manual pay.

    yeah we have been trying to process the pays since this morning and keep getting the same error and have spoken support team was not at all helpful with there answer just saying the IT are working on it... we have been on the phone to them throughout the day and MYOB are not the ones having to deal with grumpy staff wanting there money and are totally entitled to it 

  • What's everyone planning on doing if it doesn't get resolved before end of day?
