My client is trying to create a pay run, Pay period Start 23-03-26, Pay period End 05-04-26, Date of Payment 06-04-26 they are Fortnightly and last pay run period was 22-03-26. When she clicks next on the Select Pay Run Detail screen the following error arrears: "You can only enter pays for current or previous financial years" I have already started a new financial year, current financial year is 2027, previous year is not currently locked.

That error pops up when the pay run dates sit outside what MYOB sees as the current/previous financial years, or the pay is trying to span two financial years.
For this one, try:
Then record the pay again.
If they’d rather treat it as the first pay of the new year instead, they’ll need to run it fully in the new year (dates and payment all in the new FY) and adjust the hours/amounts to match what was actually paid.
