the ability to reconcile the payroll liability accounts and complete general journals for corrections should form part of the basic tasks able to be performed in the MYOB payroll software to ensure accuracy and completeness of the payroll system.
At the moment I have balances in the payroll liability accounts that I cannot prove by reconciliation.

Being able to reconcile those payroll liability accounts and pop into general journals would make life a fair bit easier! MYOB Payroll doesn’t have those features built in, so you won’t be able to run those reconciliations or do corrections directly with journals there. If you think this would really help with keeping things tidy and accurate, you can drop your suggestion up on our product ideas board, our team always keeps an eye out for feedback like this. In the meantime, you might want to check out MYOB Business Lite or Pro, as both of those do offer general journals and can help with the reconciliations, you’re after.
