Invoicing changes since 1 August 2026

Hi - has there been a change since 1st August where you can no longer email invoices from MYOB unless you upgrade?  I had previously asked support why you couldn't turn off the messaging about upgrading to secure invoicing and had been given the wrong info - a fix that did not work.  This is a small business that only emails invoices to about 6 doctors in a specialist medical practice and there is absolutely no need for secure invoicing.  Surely MYOB has not implemented a change that you cannot email invoices from the software direct but have to download a PDF?  Pretty sure these clients will not be happy.

    Hi Merry2, 

     

    Thanks for raising this. To keep emailing invoices from MYOB, you’ll need to complete the Secure Invoicing verification.

     

    If you don’t, you can still download invoices as PDFs and send them from your usual email. You also don’t have to use online payments. Once verified, you can turn those payment options off in your settings.
