Thanks for giving context to your question. You don’t need to change the customer to Prepaid first. Just add the payment schedule to the invoice. The due date will then show as “Multiple dates”.
Prepaid and Cash on delivery only make the instalment dates optional. If the dashboard still shows the old dates or says the invoice is overdue, please contact Support with an example invoice and screenshot.
