Hi Lyndalroos, It seems MYOB are now offering exemptions without the need to complain to AFCA. if you haven't already done so, send a message to feedback@myob.com with your serial number etc, and in that message, request an exemption from having to verify your business. Also state that you will lodge a complaint with the AFCA in 24 hours if they fail to respond.
If you have no satisfaction within 24 hours, go to the AFCA website and lodge a complaint online. You will need to briefly explain what the issue is and the steps you have taken to resolve it directly with MYOB.
(My reason was, I felt that MYOB was bullying me into signing up for financial services I didn't want, by removing important functionality from my accounting software subscription as a punishment for non compliance)
The process of lodging the complaint is very simple, and the AFCA will refer the issue back to MYOB to resolve directly with you. Once you are satisfied with the outcome, the case will be closed.
