I would like to agree with all of the other 80+ that lodged their frustration with the add on to invoices that we didn't ask for and don't want. Would have been a really good idea to ask first before implementing this add on. Clearly not everyone wants it and all its caused is a lot of frustration. Have you heard the saying that goes "If it ain't broke don't fix it"? I too am over having to delete the 2nd page every time I compile a new invoice, pdf it then print and send to a client. A total waste of my time - time which I don't have to "fix" a problem that MYOB made.

This 2nd page with QR code has been a money grab by MYOB for processing payments by my customers that normally just direct deposit at no cost them previously

AmandaMYOB To check what my customers are seeing, I emailed an invoice to myself, then clicked on "View Invoice" and while the invoice template is very similar to mine, there are enough differences that some of my information is either lost or partially obscured, such as my email address. I also had some older invoices saved in an email folder, so clicked on the "Pay Now" option, and despite the invoice having been paid and having a zero balance, the QR code still appears on the second page of the invoice (and the invoice template is as described above). Again, considering that MYOB is a premium product, your pricing schedule reflects this, and your initial response to this discussion was about "Professional looking invoices", this change seems to have been pushed through without any regard for the following: what your customers actually want, for the coding team to have enough time to get it right, and for any of this to be checked that it works properly and is customer friendly, and lastly to troubleshoot any problems BEFORE launch. If this were a racehorse, it would be laying on the track, surrounded by a screen, after crashing at the first hurdle. Do Better.

Thanks for the update Amanda
We all realise that you are just the meat between the sandwich. We are frustrated with MYOB not you personally.
Hope you have a nice Monday :)

AmandaMYOB - Could we at least have something added to the individual customer card in either the 'Selling Details' or the 'Payment Details' fields where we can select what payment method that is used for the customer card, i.e MYOB Payment Link, Other Method. This would at least enable a business to make their own decision on which customer's get access to / need to have a payment link and which don't.
Even if a business sometimes uses the payment link there will most likely be other payment methods that are also used and a more advantageous to the business for that customer segment. Here is a just a few that MYOB may not have considered (I am sure there is more):
- Cash sales at POS
- EFT at POS
- Purchase Orders with direct transfer into bank
- Regular customers who pay into the bank
- Sales from a website where payment is taken from a payment gateway
The payment link is suppose to be an added feature from MYOB not a forced change to business operations. It cannot replace every business's entire way of taking payments. It is unprofessional, confusing to our customers and wasteful to add payment information for the above customers. The work-arounds are a manual, additional step. Any productivity tool would recommend deleting such a process.

I did that, but it is still printing onto two pages. Frustrating and such a waste.

Having to wait weeks for some kind of update is wasteful and quite frankly useless

I have tried this. Didn't work for me. Did a print preview of the sale and QR code is still there.
Maybe it might work for any new ones. I'll have to give it a try.
I think I'll leave the online payments turned off and people can just go back to calling us up with CC details over the phone. Sorry MYOB until you turn this off I'm leaving the online payments function off.
