In tray not working forwarded emails

We have and issue with emails going to the intray for which we raised a ticket.

The ticket after 3 days was marked as solved but we have had no correspondence about it and it still is not working.

Intray   02784631   20/01/2026 22/01/2026 Closed New MYOB

We chatted to support - no fix.

Simply put:

emails going to our invoices address are forwarded to our myob intray address

We have tested exchange system forwards and user forwards.

Direct send to in tray works.

We have reset the myob inbox" The new address still doesnt work

We setup an exchange connector to directly send these messages - didnt work

We have exactly ZERO support on this from myob

    I am unsure.
The  general answer appears to be that there are password protected PDF's in the in tray.
I had three pdf's - I opened and none were password protected.
Entered them as bills to clear them out.
The next forwarded invoice went in.

I have not had any more come in  to email since so I cant say if the processes is working

I am annoyed at suggestions to "check forwarding and rules" as these are ones that were working fine.
Why my outlook rules would suddenly change to stop emails is a mystery to me.

It is more likely to be an issue at MYOB in-tray than a non existent change in rules or forwarding.

    Hi Chrissiee,

You’re not alone in running into that issue with In Tray. You can check the steps I shared with the other user, because the same tips apply. If you’re forwarding from Outlook, have a quick look at any rules you’ve set up and switch them off before sending. If it still refuses to show up after trying that, it’s a good idea to get in touch with our team so they can check over your setup and make sure everything’s pointing to the right place. You can contact them on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, or by submitting a support case via My Account.

    Cheers,

    Doreen

Personally "Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA," is a complete waste of time
It has shown me - on several occasions, blank screens asking of those solutions helped.

    A time wasting exercise

    Hey leibholdqpbc,

You're running into same thing with forwarded emails not landing in In Tray even after checking the filters and setup. If you’re forwarding from Outlook, it’s worth checking any rules and switching them off before sending. If the email still doesn’t land in the In Tray after that, the best next step is to reach out to our team so they can check the setup and make sure those invoices start appearing where they’re meant to. You can contact them on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, or by submitting a support case via My Account.

    Cheers,

    Doreen

  • We also have this issue.
Appears to be a myob in tray email system error where forwarded emails are not accepted or moved to the in tray
Once assumes because of filters or incorrect setup.
Be a BIT handy for invoices to appear where they are meant to

this has been happening for me as well, for a few months now.  I always change my emails to plain text before sending (so the images in signature shouldn't impact), but many of the bills don't make it to the in-tray.  I now have to drag the bills to the uploads page to ensure that they get there.  would be nice to have a fix for this.

    Hi DPC_ADMIN

We are also having some random emails not getting to the intray - Mostly the same supplier invoice, but not always. MYOB came back to me to say did we have images on our email signatures - we do. So I am testing this week whether deleting the signature when forwarding makes any difference. Seems to be a size limit - but not just the attachment size (in my mind?)
