Hi Sai,
Me Too! I also was forced to verify our Company and provide personal director information even though we were never going to use the system.
A Pay Now button was "sneaked" onto my sales invoice emails without my consent, offering payment methods which we don't have available.
I managed to disable that after looking like an idiot to several clients but am left with unprofessional links to View Invoice or View Invoice details even though the email already has a pdf of the invoice. The ability to disable these links needs to happen urgently.

Good on you for checking on that! You're spot on. Even if online payments are turned off, the invoice email still shows that little linked header. There's no option to fully remove it (yep, a bit annoying, I know). The good news is that this has already been raised in our Ideas Exchange, where our team keeps an eye on what features customers want most. You can jump in and cast your vote to help give it a bit more traction. The more interest it gets, the higher it moves up the list for future updates. Hi Sai,
While I appreciate that this will be assessed via the ideas exchange.
I think this is quite a serious matter and you have now inserted your Company into my customer relationship. We would not have chosen this software if this was a forced option. We manage our relationships inhouse and respectfully want to keep it that way.
We were forced to verify our Company and provide personal director information even though we were never going to use the system.
A simple opt in if you want the product would make more sense. But is there another reason why this is forced?
I would like this rectified as a matter of urgency please.

Hi Craig167,
You're definitely in the right spot and I totally get where you're coming from. At the moment, there's no way to completely remove that invoice link in the email, but the team keeps an eye on requests like yours through the Ideas Exchange. That's where they decide what features get built next based on customer votes and feedback. I know it's not the instant fix you were hoping for, but your vote really does help push things along.

Makes sense to want full control over payments and exactly what shows in your invoice emails, keeping things clean and professional with just the PDF. To help move the option to remove those “View invoice” links up the queue, jump onto this idea post about removal of links from emailed invoices. Make sure to hit Vote as it helps what the devs team prioritises.

Hi Doreen,
I don't think this is being addressed with the urgency it deserves.
I unticked the online invoice payments tab last week. I just sent more invoices today and the Pay Now tab has re-appeared in the emails. I've just unticked the online invoice payments again but the term "active" still appears. There is such a small amount of info on that screen that I'm not even sure if it has anything to do with my MYOB setup.
This needs to be escalated to someone who has the ability to take responsibility and fix the issue. Can this be done?
