Fulltime to Casual employment change
Hi, we have employee changing from fulltime to casual at the start of the new financial year.
Obviously in their card file we will change the Employment Basis to Casual. We don't need to notify the ATO for "termination" of fulltime? Since employee will continue working just employment basis has changed.
Also Unpaid Annual Leave, Unpaid Leave Loading & Unpaid Long Service Leave will be paid out weekly at their fulltime rate. The payroll categories will need to be linked to that employee
(ATO Reporting Category is "Unused Leave On Termination"). Any other tips or advice?
