Issue with Superannuation Payment

We have been using the Superannuation Clearing House for many years to pay our super.

As far as I can tell everything is set up except now when I go to Pay Superannuation I get the following validation error:

Red cross stating:

You need to enter a valid employee membership number for this employee.

I know the employee membership number is correct because it has been used correctly by the Superannuation Clearing house.

    Hi Maxicoat,

Thanks for reaching out. The red X is usually triggered by Pay Super checking the selected fund and membership-number format. It doesn’t always mean the membership number itself is wrong. Super funds can have similar names, so please double-check the employee’s membership number and make sure the correct fund is selected using its unique SPIN/USI. For more details on this error and how to fix it, check out Troubleshooting Pay Super payments.

    Cheers,

    Princess

  • Thank you for your response, however I have checked the Superfund name SPIN and ABN number is all correct.

    Hi Maxicoat,

Thanks for getting back. If the super fund name, SPIN/USI and ABN are all correct, you can try recreating the super fund. Manually entering the SPIN/USI when setting it up. Then, link the newly created fund to the employee and try processing the payment again. If the issue continues, please contact our team by phone or reach out to MOCA, our virtual assistant, which can connect you with a live chat team for further assistance.

    Cheers,

    Princess
