MYOB not recording Payroll

I've run my payroll 2 times, and it isn't recording in MYOB.  I have done the ATO finalisation, and this is the first payrun for the new financial year.  I hit Record, but it doesn't go to the ATO confirmation screen where I put my name in, and goes straight to the overview page, where it has zero balances for everything.

Since people need to be paid today, and it's after 6pm, I am running the payroll one last time, doing a save and close, printing the preview payrun report and inputting directly to the bank their pays, but I will still need to be able to process this payrun through the ATO tomorrow.

I would love to get a fix for this so I can process it properly.

    Hi katrinap1 and Diyana1,

You don't have to enter leave balances manually. A script can be run to fix entitlements that were wiped out. To get this sorted, you can reach them on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA.

Hi, I have had that script run on my file and all entitlement balances have been wiped.  I raised this in this forum last week, then on Friday submitted a support ticket.  I have not had a response, and I am afraid to do any work in MYOB because I'm worried it will be broken again.   Has this issue been addressed?  Someone else mentioned there was another script which could be run?  I need my file fixed asap, as I have work to do, and I need to run the payrun which wouldn't go through last week - which involves entitlement payments.

I tried the virtual assistant, and it didn't have a clue what I was saying.  It kept giving me generic FAQ answers, then I submitted a ticket and I haven't had a reply after the "we will get back to you" auto response.  I need this fixed.

I am having this same issue (screenshot attached - process the pays and get $0 recorded) and I've contacted MYOB via the chat and also by submitting a support request. The person I am dealing with keeps asking me for stuff that I have already provided and told them. It is week 4 of doing my pays manually and not being able to report to the ATO via STP.  I've also told the person I am dealing with that what I am experiencing is a known issue and have sent them the link to this page but they are simply not listening. Can I please get this fixed urgently. MYOB you are about to lose this customer.

    Hi biacon07,

Thanks so much for all the info you’ve shared, and I’m really sorry it’s taking longer than usual to get this sorted for you. I can see you’ve already got a case open with our team, and I’ve just followed up on it for you. I believe I know what needs to happen to fix this, so I’ve passed those details along to the person handling your case. I’m keeping a close eye on things and will make sure you get an update soon.

    Cheers,

    Princess

Hi. No the person dealing with my case has no idea what they doing. They have emailed me back just now with a whole lot of information that does not address my issue. I have asked for someone else to handle this request. This is response I received below. MYOB is not processing my employees pay, it records at zero. I will not be able to reconcile my accounts, pay employer super as that is also not recording, meet my STP requirements or give my employees payslips. I need someone to go into my account and fix the problem.

In response to your query, I have contacted our support team, and we have reviewed all three reports, and they are consistent with each other. If all STP reports show as accepted, it means everything has been successfully submitted to the ATO and there are no issues with your pay runs.

To better explain, if you process pay in the new payroll year (e.g., 1 July or later) but the Date of payment is in the previous payroll year (e.g., 30 June or earlier), the ATO will treat the pay as an update event.

Even if the pay contains amounts that you are reporting to the ATO, they will consider it an update event (and not a pay event) because it is related to the previous payroll year.

But do not worry, even though the pay run shows as a $0 update event in the STP reporting centre, the updated year-to-date payroll totals (for the last payroll year) for the employees in the pay run will still be reported to the ATO.

You can check this article for reference:

Additionally, if you are trying to process a Reportable fringe benefits amounts (RFBA), the error something went wrong (this is the known issue) will appear if the RFBA amount you are reporting is below the ATO's threshold. Make sure the combined value of an employee's RFBA is above the thresholds set by the ATO.

If unsure what to report, check with your accounting advisor or the ATO.
