Payroll with MYOB Essentials

we have called the support team 60mins waiting  and all they keep telling us they are working on it, All we want to know when will it be fixed surely there IT people know,  and The Payroll Essential you go to create a payrun and do your normal thing and it brings up a error message and they have told us might be fixed by 5pm today ...... we have staff that are not at all happy as we can not process the pays for today and we can not get into the back ground to over ride it and do it manual.... our staff and us are not at all happy and this is not the first time this has happened... seriously looking at other payroll providers as this is happening way too many time for us to trust the system.

    Yes and not updating the status pages either, last update was 1.30ish. Not good enough MYOB. Keep your customers informed. 

    And fixed by 5pm - hopefully? 

    I agree, might seriously have to look at changing. They took away alot of functionality with payroll, and now this? 

  • Actually, last updates were 11:25am. Do you think they will fix the issue by 5pm? Hopefully.

    Exactly totally agree and our staff have families and rent and mortgages that come out tonight... but of course MYOB staff will still get paid as they don't have the stress of dealing with unhappy staff... I don't at all trust what they are saying cant give us a simple ETA of when it will be fixed .... we have a lot of frustrated staff on our hands.. waiting for the pays 

    This is the second major melt down MYOB payroll has had and now this.... They Need to bring a lot of the functionality back, so when stuff like this happens we cans still manually over ride it and still pay our staff. 

    They take for ever to response to any communication :( 

     

    Disgusted and unhappy with this process :(

    If you look closely that's Australian time... I changed the setting to NZ time on my status page.  Either way I'd certainly hope they do fix it before 5pm. It's not them who has to pay overtime for payroll staff to work late!

    Let us hope! as they are not the ones having to deal with staff that want to get paid  :(

    Yeah i asked them they said NZ time and you are so right there... is MYOB giving us a credit on our account for all this time wasting, I have asked for a call back and i will be checking every hour

    Hope you get a reply.  The least MYOB could do is provide an update every hour, even if it is to say they are still working on it.  No updates make you wonder if its just your system that's not working, right?
