Onboarding - FlareHR - Missing detail

Hello Team,

I have notice that when WORKING HOLIDAY MAKERS are onboarded via the Flare Employee Self-Onboarding it fails to obtain a vital piece of information from the new employee.

The COUNTRY OF ORIGIN is not collected during the onboarding process and whed a WHM doesnt have a designated Country of Origin you can not process the payroll correctly.

Is this something that MYOB can address or if not how can I contact FlareHR to address this matter.

Thanks

Yeah I to have just reported this to MYOB.   They are the main software supplier so they should be the ones to refer back to Flare HR not us.  They should be ensuring their third party connections are reporting the correct information as this has fall back to the employer by not processing tax correctly etc.

A few months back the onboarding wasnt picking up the correct tax information eg working holiday maker and made a complete mess of payroll.  We shouldnt have to print or view the completed form by employee just to recheck if the information converted correctly.   These types of oversight and errors are the reason people end up leaving MYOB and going elsewhere.

    Hey ntoumba,

You’re right that the country of origin is important for getting WHM payroll right. If it’s not being collected during the Flare Employee Self-Onboarding flow, it can cause issues when you go to process pay. Because Flare HR manages that onboarding experience, the best way to get this reviewed is to contact Flare HR directly so they can look at updating their onboarding fields or suggest a workaround in their system. In the meantime, you might want to manually capture the country of origin for any new WHM employees. Make sure it’s correctly recorded in MYOB before processing their first pay so everything calculates as it should. You can check out this link about working holiday maker for more info.

    Cheers,

    Doreen

100% agree that this is a matter that should be taken up my MYOB.

I did however send a email to FlareHR - I havent received a response and dont expect i will as I am not a customer of thiers. I do expect that MYOB should take this up and act on it as my prodocut provider.
