STP reporting incorrect

OK, what am I missing? Client has cash flow problems so directors pays have been recorded and filed but not paid through bank. Accountant said to reverse unpaid pays. This has been done and each i...

    Hi Kim

     

    After you reversed all the unpaid pay transactions did you process a $0 pay with payment date as 30 June? If not, can you try that as it might be the dates of the reversed transactions that is messing up the YTDs in STP. Wait until that report has been accepted before checking the YTD verification report again.

     

    If that doesn't work, do the Payroll Activity and Payroll Register reports match?

    Good morning Tracy,

    Reversal pays were processed at the same date as the originals, all in June 21.

    A nil pay was recorded for all staff at 30 June - note, STP report for this has 4 staff not 5 in payrun.

    All STP lodgements have been accepted by ATO.

    Payroll Activity Summary and Payroll Register reports match.

    Not sure whereto go now with this.
