adding more lines to employee notes

Hi

I'm trying to add further information to an employees "Notes" in card details but it wont allow further input. Currently there are only 7 lines used.

    Most text fields such as Description and Notes have a 255 character limit. Each carriage return (new line) take 2 characters. So you can add more lines as long as your total character count for the Note does not exceed 255.

      Thanks.

      Does seem silly a notes box on an employee card with scroll enabled can only handle 255 characters

        If the company file is online you could look at taking a screenshots of the older notes and attaching that to the card using the Attachments option. This way you can only have the current notes listed on the card thus potentially freeing up space for notes to be added. 

         

        Alternatively, I've seen some use the Contact Log entries to store employee note information. It does depend on what information you are storing in those notes and for what purpose.
