Hi Shezamac
You can record an adjustment pay to enter the leave balance, zero out all amounts/hours and enter the number of hours against the Family & Domestic Violence leave entitlement category. Step 5 in the Help Article, Running down method of leave, has instructions for recording an adjustment pay.
The Help Article, Family and domestic violence leave, has detailed information on setting up and paying this leave. You can set up reminders by following Step 4 in the Help Article, Running down method of leave.
If you're not sure about your obligations with regards to this leave we do recommend checking the Fairwork website or speaking to your accountant.
Please let me know if you need further help.
Hi Tracey
Yes I could do that, but that is fairly annoying as is having to set a reminder to adjust these hours each time my 80+ employees come to their anniversary date.
And how do you record a number of hours to start with for casuals if you don't know how many hours they are working in a given year...
Thank you

Hi Shezamac
For casual employees you would need to leave the entitlement balance as zero, then follow the steps in Step 4 of the Help Article, Family and Domestic violence, leave to check the leave taken. When processing the pay run you could enter the number of days in the Leave tracking information window. Then when running the Entitlement balance detail report go to Insert/Modify>>Show Hide and show the Notes column.
Please let me know if you need further help.
