Guid Changes on every update

Hi,

 

I have been using the MYOB API since 2019 and i have observed the GUID for company id changes on every update. Recently, MYOB has released auto update feature, which makes this particularly annoying as i have no idea when the update occurs, which breaks my web app since all my company id fails to match. 

 

Is this by design? Is there any way to prevent this? If not any suggestion would be helpful.

Sorry, please ignore this. 

 

This time, there was no changes to the GUID, which is great. I will not have to update my program's company file id. This time, i found out with the auto update i need some additional service to be installed.
