Need to upgrade from desktop v19 but to a Mac friendly program
Hi, We are a small business that has been using Premier V.19 since day dot. Our problem is we all work on Macs and access the file through MS Remote desktop.Our file is stored on a very, very, old server. I know I am borrowed time but have been waiting for MYOB to bring out a truly online version or a program that is Mac-friendly. Every time I frustratingly have to hang on to confirm my file (that I own and have no support for) someone tries to talk me into going with a product that just won't work for us. I am curious about Business Pro being truly online but have noticed it only has 10 inventory items. If we abandon inventory, can we still keep all our item descriptions and use them on our invoices and purchase orders? Are item descriptions part of inventory even if we don't track them? Has anyone else any ideas for using MYOB in a Mac environment that can be accessed from anywhere? Hi Everyone, I've been managing a few different accounts online by signing in with my my.myob login. By doing this, I'm never prompted for a username or password for the files. I have no User Access option for 2 of these files so I must not be the Administrator for these files, and the person who set this all up is no longer with us. This has been an issue for some time, I'm looking at integrating with Tanda which is why I've been promoted to get this sorted. As all files are online, how do I go about sorting this out? I have 5 company files and 3 are working fine on the latest version (2024.4). I have just updated the other 2 files to version 2024.4 and when opening the file it kicks me out of MYOB. When I go to My Library the file is there and shows the latest date updated which is the date I tried to access the files before it kicked me out. Hi, I can't restore a 2022 backup file. I've followed the instructions from other people asking about this in the forum but I haven't been able to resolve the problem. MYOB newest feature since last patch ........ MYOB Windows change to "Cascade" when I start MYOB every morning even though preferences are set to save window location. In "Cascade" you can't access the Menu Buttons (File, Edit List Etc....) which is needed while in invoices or going back and forth. So every morning I have to go to preferences -> Windows -> uncheck "save window locations and size" (Pic 3) close MYOB, restart MYOB go back into preferences and recheck "save window locations and size" Sometimes multiple times for this to actually save.
