Having to Authenticate everytime I log in.

Hi all,

 

Since the latest update, every time I log in I am having to authenticate, and this could be four to five times within the 24 hour time frame.  I thought authentication was only required every 24 hours and not every time.  Very frustrating, as a bookkeeper, I am in and out of clients files alot during the day.

 

Would appreciate any comments, or if anyone else has this issue?

    Thanks for the post, its great to see you back on the forum!
    This was a bug/regression that came from our recent 2024.10 release of AccountRight
    I'm pleased to confirm that we released a patch to fix this last night though and it shouldn't happen anymore

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks so much for your response, I am now not requested for the authenticator every time.  Just curious, I have been having to log in every time, to get into clients accounts, even if I have exited only 5 minutes before, is this going to be the normal routine moving forward?

    Hey Deb14 

    You can switch between files without having to login multiple times in the AccountRight desktop by selecting File > Open from the top taskbar. If you're using the browser, you can do this by clicking on your business name and selecting Switch business. 

  • Definitely not fixed. I am hoping that the .11 update in the coming days resolves this.
