MYOB freezing

Since the upgrade a few days ago my MYOB freezes a few times a day.

Regardless of what option of choose: close MYOB, wait for it to respond etc it will just hang.

I have to use Task Manager to exit.

 

It does not seem to be specific to an area that I am working in.

 

This is very time consuming, is anyone else having this issue?

    We deployed a patch release last night for AccountRight to address this issue. If you haven't already, please upgrade to the latest version. If you continue to experience AccountRight crashing, please let me know.

    If you can provide the error logs, what steps you took before it crashed and also a screenshot of your version build (available if you click Help > About MYOB AccountRight in the top file menu) we'll be able to investigate further.

    Hey Paulaosv,

     

    Thanks for letting us know you've been using Task Manager to end AccountRight when it freezes— not how things should be running. We haven't seen any widespread issues with AccountRight freezing after the latest update. That said, clearing your AccountRight cache often does the trick for most users. If it's still freezing after that, give our team a shout on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, so they can dig deeper for you.

    Me too - It froze or gave up at least 6 times yesterday doing basic tasks such as entering invoices. Doing it again today in Bank Feeds.

    There haven't been any reports of freezing after the latest update. A good first step is clearing your AccountRight cache— that usually gets things back on track. If you're still having issues, you can hop onto our Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, and our team can check it for you.

  • I am having same issues, having to go task manager and close it off. and even then it is 5 minute process before it shuts off

    It is still happening even though I cleared the cache, at least once a day.

    Hi InFocusLum,

    Yikes, that sounds like a real hassle! At the moment, there aren’t any reported issues with AccountRight freezing like that. If you haven’t already, I’d recommend giving the cache a good old clear-out—it can help sort out weird discrepancies like this sometimes. Clearing the AccountRight Cache
     

    If it’s still playing up after that, it’s probably best to reach out to our team so they can dig a bit deeper and get this sorted for you.  You can reach them on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA or by submitting a support case via MyAccount.
