Unable to confirm company files online

Hi

I am having difficulty confirming my company file online. I am using MYOB RetailBasics and have successfully used this link (https://confirmation.myob.com/confirm?) to confirm our company file several times before but now i get an error

  • Error reason: CompanyDataFile Exception.
  • Exceeded maximum confirmations within allowable time period.

 It says to use the chat box at bottom of the page but there is none and i saw that a few months ago that some one had a similar problem and had success posting here, we have four days left then we will not be able to use our till.

 

any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hi Fred_M

     

    That RetailBasics certainly is not mainstream right now, so it’s quite difficult if you need help with it.

    What that error means is your RetailBasics file has hit the maximum number of confirmations allowed in a period, so it’s been locked on the licensing side. The confirmation link you’re using is right, but once that limit’s reached, it can’t be reset from here.

    Support for RetailBasics is now handled by AAAPOS, not directly by MYOB. They’re the best folks to get your till up and running again. You can reach them on:

    When you get in touch, let them know you’re using MYOB RetailBasics and quote the exact error message plus your serial number.
