Hi Seriously_Sammi,
Super payments are generally only required for active employees who are currently earning wages. If an employee is marked as inactive and is no longer being paid, MYOB will not calculate super contributions for them.
Yes, you can temporarily activate the employee card in MYOB, process the super, and then set the employee back to inactive. This method will allow you to include the employee in the super payment for that particular pay period.

Sai
As super is paid on a three-monthly basis there are times when an employee is inactive prior to the quarterly super payment - hence the need to pay super for an inactive employee.... Will this employee's super be processed or does the employee card need to be reactivated?

Hi Seriously_Sammi,
To ensure that the process is completed smoothly, please make sure to keep the employee's card file active.

Sai
