Need to change login name but message is login name already exists

Hello MYOB,

I need to change login/email as no longer using this email as has been de-activitated by IT. I am still the Administrator for company that has been sold but will still need to do BAS, EOFY, etc. When I went to change login/email it came up with " Login name exists (l116_3000). Can you please advise and I will check for answers on Community everyday. I need this done ASAP.

    Hi Anne-Marie12,

    Thanks for your detailed post. Please verify if the email addresses of all users listed in the account are identical. To do so, navigate to Product >> Users >> Click on the name of the user to be removed >> Click delete >> A confirmation message will appear, click Delete. If the email addresses are not the same for all users, please send me a private message with the following information: 

    Serial number.
    New and old email login.
    Company File ID.
