Unable to open backup file

Hi Team,

 

I am unable to open a myox extention backup file in the latest version of Accountright or Accountright 2022.2. It says upgrade file to 2024.7 to open but when i upgrade it i get an error stating something's gone wrong and AccountRight needs to close.

 

I have attached the error log for reference. How can i open this file? Please help.

    Hey KR7

    I'm assuming the file is offline as you mentioned it was a backup file. If that's the case you'll need to run the Hotfix tool in order to open your file. This post has a link to download the tool as well as instructions to run it. 

    If it's an online file you'll need to reach out to support so we can run the necessary script over it.

      Hi AmandaCL ,

       

      Thank you for your reply. The file is offline but I could open it. It was not syncing properly earlier on my computer, once it finished syncing it opened in the older version. It doesn't open in the current version though as the file is old, i guess.
