Failing to make super payment

Hie

I am failing to make super payment for a worker with Hesta super. I receive a message stating that this fund can no longer receive contributions using pay super.

How can I solve this?

Thank you.

    Hi there Thula1,

The error message "This fund can no longer receive contributions using Pay Super," typically shows that the Super Fund has either changed its details or is no longer a registered APRA fund. If all the details are correct, this error can also occur due to corruption in the super fund details, especially if the associated fund is a Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF). To help you with the error, you can follow the steps below:

    • Verify Fund Details. Check the ABN of the Super Fund using ATO's Super Fund Lookup tool.
    • Recreate the Super Fund Card. If the details are correct but the error persists, recreate the Super Fund with the same details and relink it to the employee. Sometimes, the Super Fund might be corrupted and creating a new one can resolve the issue.
    • Contact the Super Fund. If recreating the Super Fund doesn't work, contact the Super Fund to confirm if there have been any changes or if the fund is still valid.

    Best regards,

    Doreen
