Read-only company file

How do I restore my company file? I keep on getting this message.

    Hi, I have tried. But now it says Error, unable to activate company file.

    The pop-up message you received is just informing you that the file needs to go through the confirmation process to remove the read-only restrictions. This process will help you regain full access to your file. You can read through this link if you need help with confirmation.
