Bank Code is Invalid for Wise Account (NZ)

Hi there,

 

I am trying to set up Wise as a supplier in MYOB AccountRight in order to make a payment to them. They have given me a NZD account number beginning 04-2021-xxxxxxx-xx. AccountRight is giving me a pop-up error "The Bank code is invalid".   

 

Payments NZ lists the 04 bank code as ANZ Institutional and Wise references their bank as JPMorgan Chase NZ. https://www.paymentsnz.co.nz/resources/industry-registers/bank-branch-register/?bank_number=04 

 

Is there another way to set up MYOB AccountRight to make payments to Wise?

Or can this bank code please be added as a valid code in MYOB AccountRight? 

  • Hi to anyone following this thread. This issue seems to have been resolved. I have been able to add my Wise account 04-2021-xxxxxxx-xx and make a batch payment normally. 

    Thanks for fixing this issue. 

    But it took a lot longer than it should and would have been nice to get an official reply here when it was fixed.

    Six months without any action or resolve, you are now telling us we have to individually deal with a virtual assistant or submit a case!!

     

    If I am going to submit a case, it will be to my boss to change providers!

    I'm not sure you do understand the frustration Genreve_S...

    PLEASE put a rocket under whichever developer is responsible for updating the coding that the system needs to allow these bank codes - we don't want a new thread - WE WANT IT FIXED.  Vivek2 has been kind enough to do half the job and supply you with a lovely list of all the bank codes even...

    Ive just tried to pay a bank account with 04-2014-xxxxxxx-xx and im having the same issue. It's been 2 months since your post...how long will it take for these bank prefixes to be supported?

    I understand the frustration the error bank code is invalid may cause. No worries, I've created a case for you and passed it along to the right team.
