Payday Super-Still "processing payment"after 5 days

We processed our payroll on 7 July 2026 through MYOB STP and, for the first time, processed Payday Super through MYOB on 9 July 2026. The super payment was successfully deducted from our bank account on the same day.

However, it has now been more than 5 business days, and the payment status in MYOB is still showing "Processing Payment."

Has anyone else experienced this with their first Payday Super payment? Is this normal, or should I contact MYOB Support? If so, is there a specific team I should contact?

Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi JeanPaul,

Totally fair question. After the money has left your bank account, Processing Payment can still hang around while the payment finishes its little backstage journey before flipping over to Completed. A handy guide is:

    • Processing Payment means the payment has been sent for processing and the direct debit has been kicked off.
    • This status can stay there for up to 3 business days.
    • If it’s still showing for more than 5 days, it’s best to reach out to our support team via the Contact Us page so they can take a closer peek.

Once everything has finished processing, the status will update to Completed, which means the contributions are being paid into your employees’ super funds. You can also check this link and look for "Check the status of your super payments" for more info.

    Cheers,

    Doreen

  • Hi Doreen,

What I don't understand is why still showing "processing payment"not "completed" even after payment was deducted from our bank account 5 business days ago?

    Hi JeanPaul,

Totally understand why you’d want to double-check this, especially with it being your first Payday Super payment through MYOB. If a super payment is authorised on payday before the 4pm AET direct debit cut-off, the usual timing is:

    • 3–5 business days through the clearing house
    • plus the fund’s 3-day allocation window

Once the money has left the bank account, there can still be a short gap before the status updates in MYOB and the contribution shows in the employee’s super fund. You can also check this Community thread for a more detailed breakdown of the payment timeframe: Why does MYOB Pay Super take so long? If it’s already outside that timeframe, you can reach out to our support team via the Contact Us page so they can check what’s happening with the payment.

    Cheers,

    Doreen
