Payroll - First payrun in new Financial Year times-out

I have tried to process the first payrun in the new Financial Year, which "times-out" at the point of recording. Pay period 23/06/24 - 30/06/24 with payment date 04/07/24. System hangs for approx 4 mins after selecting "Record". System returns with error message of "Retry" or "Cancel". Selecting "Retry" results in the same outcome. Only option is to select "Cancel". Payroll is then not recorded. The same problem occurred last FY and was not resolved by MYOB until Friday. Case reference from last year was 01372663 & 01373520.

 

Have tried clearing Cache. 

  • This has now been resolved by MYOB support over the phone. Case ref 01820999. Thanks.

    Hi everyone,

     

    We know it's unpleasant when the software crashes while you're running pay runs for the new financial year. At the moment, there aren’t any reported issues with the software, but it's possible it’s just getting bogged down with lots of folks doing the same thing at once.

    A good trick is to break up your pay runs into smaller batches, this should help things run a bit

    Hi there, nope that wont fix it. There are accrual errors now, STP reporting hasnt gone through as it crashed halfway through processing, and the Net amount has doubled. Im waiting for someone to fix this as a matter of urgency please. These excuses every year are not good enough, you are putting extra stress on people and its not fair when you have a year to correct these continuing errors. 

     

    PLEASE GET BACK TO ALL OF USE AS A MATTER OF URGENCY TO RESOLVE THE ISSUES.

    I am now trying to put thru a pay for our employee and the time-out issue happened. Next week will be our pay week. Would you please urgently also look into it for us? Thanks

    Hi annachen​,

     

    Thanks for clearing that up! If it's just one employee's pay and you're still hitting that timeout, best to reach out to our live chat support via MOCA, our virtual assistant. Something else might be causing the issue, and the team can take a closer look for you.

    why u cant help? if one person didnt go thru, i guess 100 persons wil not be working neither...can u pls look into it without passing the ball to somewhere else?

    i have now spent another hour with MOCA, still not fixing the issue but advising us to call instead...its really frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
