Payday Super - Do we have to process payments through MYOB?

We are a very small business (2 employees) & currently use the ATO SBC. We are preparing to setup for Payday Super & want to know if we have to process payments through MYOB, or if we can process man...

    Hi KateAE, 

     

    I understand how making sure there are other options to process super is essential for business processes. You don’t have to process your super payments through MYOB, but you also can’t just send them manually via regular online banking; they need to go through a SuperStream‑compliant option (like MYOB Pay Super or your employees’ super funds’ online portals).

     

    From 1 July 2026, you also can’t use the ATO Small Business Super Clearing House, and super has to reach your employees’ funds within 7 business days of payday. If you’re already doing payroll in MYOB, Pay Super is usually the easiest way to stay compliant.
