Unable to confirm company file AccountRight Basics

Hi There,

 

I tried to log in into my company profile and I got the error message

 

"Unable to connect to the online confirmation service.

You may not be connected to the internet, or your computer's firewall may not allow online confirmation. We recommend you to try confirming your company file by phone."

I'm using the AccountRight basics 2011.0.12.4717nd I'm not looking to upgrade. Can someone please help as I have work to do urgently!

    Hi Elapid,

     

    Thank you for the post, and welcome to the Community Forum! I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue confirming your company file, and I'll be glad to help you with this. Since it's an old version of AccountRight, you can now generate a confirmation code by going to Confirm your company file (myob.com). Activating and confirming older MYOB products, has detailed instructions to assist you with this.

      Hi Isaiah,

       

      i've tried that but the return message was 

      The serial number or registration code is incorrect.

      I used the confirm by phone call to obtain my serial number and company ID, this failed to recognise SN.

      thoughts?

        Hi Elapid , Isaiah_C 

         

        While this is an older version (2011) it is still part of the current AR2024 range - you need a licence file sent to you, the code generator is for Basic v1, not v2011.
