The manner in which AR 2013 prints backorder invoices needs to be changed.   There is no logical reason for the backordered product to be listed with a zero quantity and zero value then listed again in the backorder section.  The original invoice line should be automatically deleted if the entire quantity is on backorder.  It causes unneccesary confusion the way it is and looks totally unprofessional.   "Printing Backorder Invoices" ... I think it would be great if AccountRight could produce the journal entry required to be processed to record the value of the entitlements on the balance sheet e.g. a just like the journal entry that is printed when using BASLink, but for recording entitlements.  AND/OR Click a button called "Recognise Entitlements" and it will do the journal for you to a specified date (obviously you would need to setup which entitlements you want recognised i.e. yes to Annual Leave, no to Sick Leave etc)   "Automating recognition of leave entitlements"   ... Hello,   At the moment if a credit exists for a customer the first reminder we receive is when processing a payment, it would make more sense (to me) if the warning came when the invoice was raised otherwise that horse has already bolted, if advised earlier an adjustment by way of the credit would reduce the invoice at that point and the credit issue is resolved.  As it stands if its missed and not picked up it can continue invoice after invoice, and it would be a better solution than sticky notes on the screen to remind of customers with credits.   "Warning that a credit exists when raising invoice" ... It would be great if a user could easily recognise where the cursor is when entering Sale & Purchase Transactions Lines.   At the present time it is difficult to quickly identify where the cursor is awaiting a value in a transaction line or even if the cursor is in a transaction line ready to accept input as the transaction is completely filled with the MYOB purple colour.   It would be a great idea if a user can easily identify that he/she is in a transaction line and what field in that transaction line is awaiting input from the user.   In the attached example of a 'Purchases Type Bill - Item Layout' screen there is a clue where the cursor is awaiting input.  Can you recognise it? If you can then you have done well, but the same clue is unavailable in a 'Purchases Type Bill - Service Layout' screen.   "Where am I?" ... View more

It would be handy to be able to view an invoice that is in the in tray so you can enter the details in the enter purchases window.  Currently I have to save the invoice to the desk top to be able to enter the informaiton from the invoice.  Even checking the amount has been transcribed over correctly of the invoice number.   The intray is working very well for me but this would make it work even better.   Thanks Raelene   "Viewing invoices in In Tray" ... Is there a way to be able to tick a box to provent the name field in a customer, supplier or employee card being deleted or changed by mistake? Say you go into a card to look at phone numbers or details that dont come up in the main cards list, and without looking or realsing you hit a key on the keyboard and change the name then you click ok to exit and not cancel. You end up with a single letter named card file. This has happened to me when working with other people who use the cards to look up details.  I then have to look for a sale or purchase to re-enter the cards name again. We use Job as departments.   I've noticed that when processing pays in the web-based MYOB Accountright, we are now able to allocate the pay/super etc to different Jobs.  That is EXCELLENT.  However in staff setup, only one Job is allowed to be allocated.  Suggest to be able to set multiple jobs in the staff payroll settings so that it's automatically populated when processing pays. ... I would love to see a user customisable setting (via preferences) that lets the user select the date range viewable in the Sales and Purchases Register, it'd also be productive to have default buttons that show "THIS MONTH", "LAST MONTH" so that you can see at a glance your register for the chosen period.   ie  In preferences I could set up SALES REGISTER "Custom Display" to be 7 days In preferences I could set up PURCHASES REGISTER "Custom Display to be 14 days   When I'd go into SALES REGISTER (or purchases register), I would see the date range as normal, however there'd be click choices to populate these fields with either "CURRENT MONTH", "LAST MONTH" or "CUSTOM DATES" - it's painful having to type in them, especially for the week or so after a change of month. HI, it would be really helpful if i could follow the path of the activity slip (not the time version) all teh way through to the invoice that is generated.   i do an activity report and it shows that they are not billed, yet when i go to the customer it has an invoice ....... as i am unable to get a report that has the link that joins them both - being the activity slip ID - i am unable to work out what has gone wrong.   cheers F   "Sales report that has the invoice and the activity slip ID" ... As I understand things currently to do a % price increase across all Items requires export of Item data as a txt file, make adjustments to prices in Excel, then re Import back into MYOB. This is quite complex for many users and from my experience not a smooth, simple or seemless process. I experienced data errors and required considerable time and support from MYOB suport staff. MYOB should have a price adhjustment "Wizard" to manage this process which is a common requirement in any accounting system and handled far better by other Desktop based accounting software packages. Please could we have a Categories column in the Enter Sales and Enter Purchases windows. Our company has three branches that we need to report on individually as well as a group. At the moment when we receive supplier invoices from for example telephone companies, IT providers etc we need to split the bill across the three branches or cost centres, currently to do this in myob we have to enter the bill three times, once for each branch/category/cost centre at the apportioned amount. It would be amazing if when you invoice a sale, and print the invoice for the customer, if every payment made on that invoice was displayed with the date, amount and type of payment. (Credit Card, Cash, Direct etc).   I don't understand how this is not a thing already. Please could we be able to apply rules to Imported Statements in one of 2 ways   Either - let us import statements into the Bank Feeds window so that the Rules functionality will apply Or - add the rules functionality to the Get Statement window (from either Bank Register or Bank Reconciliation)   We get many clients who give us accounts just once per year and it's all retrospective.
